Group Facilitation Skills for Workshops: An Introduction

Do you have a yearning, or a need, to facilitate group workshops but have no clear idea how to do that? In this 3 hour introductory workshop, we will explore some of the important fundamental elements needed for professionally facilitating structured group workshops. These will include: developing the workshop program; room set-up; fostering peer-to-peer learning and engagement; facilitating small and whole-group discussions; navigating group dynamics, and balancing your input with discussions and practical exercises. The workshop is relevant for both in-person and on-line workshops but online technical issues won’t be discussed.
