Da Nang Comedy: Writing Workshop (English + Vietnamese)

Calling all aspiring comedians, who speak English or Vietnamese, to gather and work on their jokes. Quickie: We will start the workshop by having everyone share one QUICK thing that they found funny that week or whenever. It doesn't have to be funny to everyone. It has to be funny to you. This helps everyone understand what's wrong with you. Sweatshop: Take out your notebook or note app and work on your jokes with your peers at hand if you need them. You can bounce ideas off of each other. Give advice or receive advice. Get help translating your jokes into English or Vietnamese. You're also welcome to collaborate and create content during this time. The space is yours to become funny before the open mic, which will be every other week. Joke of the Day: There will be a theme of the day for you to flex your funny bone and write about something new. Those who participate will share their new joke(s) in front of their peers at the end of the workshop. Bonus: Get first dibs on the set list for the open mic if you go to the workshop.
